Well i think the old is better because its straighter not humped up on the hood.
Beginners are Obsessed With OEM, Nothng else Matters, They don’t want to work on their cars.
Critics Slam the Mustang, At the same time they’re Copying the Retro Pony Car Concept.
They Knock Supercharging, yet theirs can’t come close to fords hp.
Critics want more naturally aspirated hp from ford, copying chevy and dodge, both failures.
what didn’t make sense?
The Ford Mustang is lightest of the Bunch anyway!
The Dodge challenger is the porkiest here which weighs a little over 2 TONS! (4000+ Lbs)
Did You Put Weight into Consideration?
I don’t think so!
Besides POWER ALONE doesn’t mean a car will excel in terms of Acceleration
“POWER TO WEIGHT RATION” Is the most important thing here!
That didn’t make sense at all!
they both are ok but the saleen version is fucking badass
The only way Dodge/Chrysler and GM can keep up with Ford is by throwing 6.1 and 6.2l’s into their cars while ford had 4.6l’s, 5.4 and soon to be 5.0l
If You’re a Beginner buy the other makes, if you’re any kind of mechanic buy a Ford. Copy Failing Car Companies, Smart Man. I Think Supercharging is Brilliant, the other guys don’t do it because theirs goes BOOM, Fords Little 280 & 330 cu in engines are Bullet Proof to 750 HP.
how bout the 2010 6.2 litre cobra jet running 10′s off the showroom floor
Well dodge needed a hemi added on to their 6.1l to try and compeat with the gt500. and well that 15hp is from a cold air intake so they didn’t really do anything to the engine they just made it better. Yea i agree they need higher hp engines but the gt500 is 500hp at the same price as the 425hp dodge. Its just a not as well known car, just think of it as the srt8 because the challenger has 3 engines. and the gt500 is faster than the srt8.
my point is that Ford needs forced induction to keep up with a N/A engine like the hemi. And that aint right. My point is that Ford needs to step up their game instead of giving it a measly 15hp. That’s pathetic.
and the srt8 is 420 because its got a hemi. Whats ur point? And they’re coming out with a 5.0l soon enough.
did you copy and paste that from a website?
Yeah that’s because the GT500 is supercharged. I’m still dissapointed with the new mustang either way. No matter how you want to slice up that pie, it still isn’t as great as it could be.
and the challenger srt8 which has the 420hp cost over 40k. The mustang gt500 can be bought for 40k too which has 500hp. So compare that car.
i like the new front grlil allot looks alot better.
Mustang’s available engines, including the GT’s beefy 4.6-liter V-8, are designed to use regular 87-octane fuel. Mustang also makes fill-ups more hassle-free with its standard Easy Fuel(TM) Capless Fuel Fuller system, a segment exclusive.
The V-8 powered GT coupe base price is $27,995
The 2010 Mustang is jam-packed with unprecedented content, yet it weighs approximately 300 pounds less than the competing Camaro and Challenger. This leaner curb weight gives Mustang a competitive leg up in agility and contributes significantly to Mustang’s unsurpassed 26 mpg.
Mustang also offers a wide selection of personalization options from the factory as warranty-friendly Genuine Ford Accessories, from exterior stripes to interior appearance features, wheel selections, communication and entertainment systems and more.
Plus, Mustang enthusiasts can now add Performance Packs available from Ford Racing, including a Power Upgrade Pack, Handling Pack, or SuperPack – all under warranty when installed by a Ford dealer.
Mustang comes standard with Ford’s AdvanceTrac(R) Electronic Stability Control system, which complements the car’s standard all-speed traction control and anti-lock braking system. A Sport Mode, available on the GT Premium and Shelby GT500, incorporates a unique calibration of the new AdvanceTrac system, letting the driver enjoy a wider range of Mustang’s performance capabilities.

-Next-generation ambient interior lighting
-Reverse Camera System
-SOS Post Crash Alert System
dont worry, its time will come. ford is planning on bringing the 5.0 back and possibly putting a 6.2 liter in it around 2013 along with a complete redesign. but by the looks of the economy it may be a bit longer if at all
Ya and that’s something to be proud of. We have 4.6 they have 5.7 or some ****… of course they would make more power but not as efficient power.
Look @ the 09 & 10 GT 500′s, the cars you mentioned **** gas like a 420 hp car to. They would no doubt sell less GT’s if it had 420 hp, Insurance, Gas Mileage, Comfort, Bad Corporate Decision.
Yes, but Ford has proved to be able to squeeze out the most power PER liter.
